Emergency call centers utilizing the Sentinel® CM call processing solution can better manage emergency and administrative calls with ease using a fully-integrated call processing solution based on the Avaya Communication Manager (CM) platform.

Sentinel CM The IP-based Sentinel CM solution features the Sentinel User Interface and manages voice communications on an Avaya CM IP-PBX creating a rich and robust automatic call distribution (ACD) environment with high availability and scalability. Local survivable processors (LSP) ensure that individual sites in a distributed multi-site environment remain available in the case of wide area network (WAN) failure or site-specific outage, enhancing system reliability.


The Sentinel CM solution delivers audible and visual alerts at-a-glance, expediting responsiveness through automatic number identification (ANI), automatic location identification (ALI), geographic location coordinates for wireless calls and dynamic call status indicators. The Sentinel CM solution also features one-button callbacks for re-establishing contact if a 9-1-1 call is lost, single-click call transfers to responding agencies via programmable speed dial buttons, and extensive call handling and management features.


The Sentinel CM solution offers high level integration with computer-aided dispatch (CAD), mapping, management information systems (MIS), radio systems and digital logging recording (DLR) systems, further expediting response and coordination.
