As a Regional Account Manager for Cassidian Communications since 1998, Gary Aydelott has directly (and indirectly) helped hundreds of organizations to improve their business continuity/disaster recovery strategies through the adoption of emergency notification technology. To his credit, he holds degrees in both accounting and business management, possesses extensive sales and finance experience, and has a passion for problem solving that is second to none. Entertaining and insightful, Gary is often asked to share his practical approach to crisis communications with audiences from around the globe. Currently, he is participating in the Association of Contingency Planners’ (ACP) Webinar Series.
Benjamin (Ben) Brewer is the Business Development and Certifications Manager for Cassidian Communications, an EADS North America company. In this role, he provides oversight for the organization’s emergency notification solutions and services, including the JITC-certified The Communicator!® NXT™ for Military platform. Ben’s experience in crisis management and information assurance spans 25 years in the U.S. Air Force, from which he retired as Chief Master Sergeant in 2008. He culminated his career by serving three years in the Pentagon as a member of the Air Staff, where he managed over 3,100 airmen in the command post career field at over 150 locations globally. Ben holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Business Administration and Management, and a Master of Arts degree in Emergency and Disaster Management. He often addresses audiences and contributes content on the subjects of resiliency, compliance and security.
Lisa Henderson is the Product Area Business Manager for the Crisis Communications Solutions and Services (CCSS) line of business for Cassidian Communications, an EADS North America company. In this capacity, she is responsible for understanding market issues and technology trends, and creating effective product requirements and go-to-market strategies for the company’s emergency notification portfolio, which encompasses The Communicator!® NXT™, GeoCast® Web™ and REVERSE 911® platforms, as well as the ORION™ Vela™ mapping product. Lisa, who previously oversaw the company’s VESTA® and geospatial solutions for 11 years, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Redlands, California. She most often addresses public safety audiences and contributes content to industry associations and trade publications.
Chris Leonard is a Senior Sales Engineer for Cassidian Communications, an EADS North America company. During his 12-year tenure with the organization, he has helped hundreds of public and private sector clients, both in the U.S. and abroad, to successfully implement emergency notification technology in support of their crisis communications strategies. Prior to joining the company, he was employed by investment firm, J.C. Bradford (now UBS Wealth Management), and General Motors (Saturn division). Chris’ extensive technical expertise and keen understanding of crisis communications trends and requirements make him a knowledgeable and insightful speaker who routinely engages audiences of every size, education level and industry on a variety of topics. Most appreciate his candidness and quick wit, especially during open panel discussions and Q & A sessions.
