The Association of Contingency Planners (ACP) continues its webinar series on May 17, 2012, at 10:30 AM CDT, with a session entitled, ‘Ten Obscure Facts About Emergency Notification That Can Make a Difference.’

During this one-hour event, corporate member, Gary Aydelott of Cassidian Communications, will share his extensive knowledge and experience in business continuity communications, sharing some oftentimes unexplained (or potentially unknown) details about emergency notification technology. Attendees will learn some non-traditional questions to ask when evaluating notification vendors, and more importantly, the right answers to those questions, helping support their purchasing decisions.

Among the ten obscure facts to be explained during this webinar are:

  • Why more isn’t always better
  • One message doesn’t fit all
  • Caller ID.. You’re really not in control
  • Call bridge vs. call transfer… there is a difference
  • What a contact is matters

Members and non-members of the ACP can register for the event online through the association’s website, located at www.acp-international.com. Again, the event will take place at 10:30 AM CDT.

The webinar will be recorded and available for future playback.
